It feels so good to see that cryptocurrency is now going mainstream and is massively adopted by people and institutions.

cheers mate @dgalan they didn't specify how much cryptocurrency the contract cost, or what token they did it under but I think 'fan tokens' I think the currency is called a club cryptocurrency.

Hello @dgalan. I read a few days ago a post about PSG fan token but I didn't know that they offered Messi a significant amount within his new contract, and the increase of the price might have made it a worthy deal too!
You also mentioned that fans can use the tokens to buy tickets or video call players and be a part of the decision making which is also something I didn't know about. It's actually my bad for not asking what's the use of the club's fan tokens, but now that I know I would like to say thank you for sharing this new information with me!
