Your in good company, believe me in Germany we could proudly say we have the most complicated and unfair tax-administration and system of the world, its so perfect that even when you want to change some for good you had to ask a bunch of tax-lawyers if you not surprisingly have forgotten some other pitfalls which you even not aware of until today ;)
And yeah we got the same mentioned parts like you in India plus a lot of extra taxes, like the CO2-tax, tax on unrealized gains from selling company shares, additional taxes when using the wrong kind of energy supply, having the wrong sort of car, and so on, it is ridicolous.
And in Spain or France it isnt better, even in Portugal and Italy it´s going worse and worse each year.
When you listen to some of the richer peeps you often hear them say, we wouldn´t opt to leave for another country with less taxes when you tax moderate and equal for all, so here´s the answer they easily would accept fixed tax rates from up to 10% of their companies or their personal income, one time per year and that´s it, the same for all the others and the nation states had so much money that they soon can order new fanca gadgets for their sleepy staff ;)

If they would like to do it they can do it, but they don´t like to that´s the bad news ;)
