Survey Shows That About 20% Of Voters in Major U.S. Swing States Consider Cryptocurrency an Important Issue

Digital Currency Group (DCG), a blockchain company did a poll, on the 7th of May 2024. And the results from the poll showed that about 20% of voters, who are in major swing states think that cryptocurrency is an issue of concern in the United States elections coming up.

There was a survey done between the 4th of April and the 16th of April 2024. The survey was done by DCG, but it was handled directly by Harris Poll. 1,201 voters, who were registered from different states: Nevada, Michigan, Montana, Arizona, Ohio, and Pennyslvania; were involved in the polling.

From the survey, it was deduced that respondents were interested in knowing the position of candidates with regards to cryptocurrency. The information gathered showed that it would be benefitting for candidates to have a supportive position with regards to cryptocurrency.

Additional data indicates that about 20% of voters, were interested in more appropriate cryptocurrency regulations, and in the security of funds of investors. Amongst the major swing states, Montana, had the highest percentage of voters who already owned cryptocurrency.
