Loosing your mobile phone can be ver painful, looking at the current price of mobile phones. Tracing such mobile phones without going to the police or any other security agency is possible if you follow these procedures i am about to share with you;

Steps or Procedures

1). Know YOUR MOBILE PHONE IMEI NUMBER
Mobile Phone IMEI numbers is known as International Mobile Equipment Identity Number, which can be used to track down your phone anywhere in earth unless the phone has been destroyed beyound recognition.

2). STEPS TO TRACE STOLEN PHONE

  • put down this numbers and keep the number private because that is the number which will be used to track your phone when it gets stolen stolen.

3). E-mail your 15 digit IMEI number to [email protected] withthe arrangement of information as displayed below:

Make

Last used phone number

Your E-mail for communication

Missed date

Phone IMEI Number

phone will be traced within next day via a advance system of GPRS and internet. You will find where the theif is operating your phone and the new user's number, will be sent to your email.

The next step is to just Inform the Police with the details you now have so that they can go after the theif.

I had no idea this could work like this, but I find it very interesting actually.
The thing is, it will always be a hassle going to the police and all that entails, but I assume that having that information they supply by mail should make it easy to get it back.
