Yesterday the 30th of June 2020, SpaceX in collaboration with NASA launched the Falcon 9 rocket to the International Space Station (ISS) and this was a milestone for Elon Musk. It was 2011 when there was a launch on the American Soil by American Astronaut. Elon Musk attested to the fact that several tests were carried out to make sure that the rocket went to space successful and returned back. This was the phenomenal aspect of this launching, the fact that the rocket was reusable.

In the midst of the pandemic, the United States carried on a high priority mission like this and I must confess that it was phenomenon. The Falcon 9 rocket with a Dragon on top launched from the same launch pad that launched the Apollo mission. On this mission, the NASA was a customer as they did not own the hardware or software. It should be noted that SpaceX has been sending Cargos to the International Space Station (ISS) since 2012 and after successfully testing the crew flight on dragon to the ISS in 2019, the phenomenal flight took place yesterday. The space craft docked autonomously on the ISS without help from the mother ship. In doing that test, a test man, a tesla car and a driver in front call star man were launched to determine the safety of astronauts and the amount of weight it can carry.

The Dragon Demo 2 mission is to test a brand new space craft and the rocket to launch this is important. A total of 2 million pounds of trust was needed to get the rocket into earth’s orbit. The Dragon is a 21st century space craft and it is truly sleek with new age technology, even the helmet are 3D printed. Both Dragon and the Falcon 9 are both reusable. The two Astronauts on board Bob Behnken and Doug Hurley have been flying on NASA’s Space Station. The astronauts plan to spend two to three months on the International Space Station. When the Dragon returns, it will be a successful mission.

Thanks to space technology, it broke the traditional scheme of knowledge and of evolving technology, and thanks to it to conquer spaces and the universe, it also served as the basis for the best quality of life today.

Space technology has broken the barrier to the way we reason, I mean we could not have imagined that life could exist outside earth.

I watched a short video clip on the movement and it was really beautiful, thanks a lot for sharing the detailed information.

Thank you too for reading @oluwatobiloba.

I think that dragon has left a lot to talk about, more than the event itself, I found out that they are already selling some replicas of that dragon.

Selling replicas, so fast? That means that other space companies will begin to fly very soon also.
