Space History: The First Man Who Went Into Space

The look at the sky makes a lot of children and even adult wonder if there is anything at all in space, the sky appears to be farther than we see and human race could not help but wonder if anything exist beyond what we can physically see.

A lot of people just wondered, but there were actually people who took the move to check out what actually was above the sky, even if going into space is now something we consider not much of a big deal, some years ago it was a great competition between two countries: America and Russia.

October 4 1957 was the first time an object was sent into space by humans and it gave rise to NASA foundation and every other thing associated with the space journey. April 12 1961, was the first time human would travel into space and Cosmonaut Yuri Alekseyevich was the first human in space moving at an altitude of 320km, the process was totally guided by an automation system controlling it from earth, the young traveller who was in his late 20’s at the time of travelling did not utter much words during the time of movement. It was a big deal back then, his return from space was greatly celebrated and he even had some street names in Russia changed to his name.

August 1962, Russia launched another space movement and this time around it lasted for a longer time. America felt punched in the face with the moves made by Russia into space and in order to protect the prestige of his country, the president announced that America will travel to the moon by the end of that decade.

March 27,1968 Cosmonaut Yuri Alekseyevich was called to test another space ship before it launched and that was the last time he ever made any other journey because he did not return alive, the space ship seem to have been hit by something and it lost balance, the search team found his dead body the following day.

After the death of the young astronaut, different stories began to fly around, he was really good with the bottle and some had said he was drunk before he went on the journey making him lose control, another news had said he was poisoned, some people believe he had survived the crash but he decided to go into hiding from that time.

2013 made it 45 years since the first man that travelled to space died and that was when the details behind the death was revealed, report said the plane meet with a collision in space and he decided to divert the movement which was not really a safe thing to do when the space ship lost balance and had a big crash.

This is a quick history about the first man who went into the space movement we see today, we might consider him as the first man who risked his life for the space journey but unfortunately, he died at the young age of 34.

It is sad and regrettable that loss, many people have risked their lives to do something great for the world and leave their footprints, this must be celebrated and honored!

But the issue is that most of those legends are really not even remembered, we should always celebrate whenever we get the chance.
