When I sit down and look at the way some billionaires are acting, it is like they want to destroy the world and it looks like they have these believe that societal collapse is going to happen soon, so instead of waiting for it to come, they want to make it quick with the believe that they can fix it in another place since it won't be inherited anymore, and it is known as Accelerationism.
The push is that when is system is doomed to fail, accelerating it makes it fail faster and possibly better. Different people can go through different routes, but the goal is still the same. One example of this was done when Karl Marx made the statement "Capitalism Pushes the antagonism of the proletariat and the Bourgeoisie" and his intention was to hasten free trade thereby causing a revolution against capitalism.
In our world today, we can say that some billionaires in the tech world are in the act of technological accelerationism with the talk about singularity and one prominent person is Elon Musk. Others like Ray, and Sam are not left out. They continue to talk about the fact that singularity is on its way with the creation of Super AI from the current AI creations. They say that these super AIs are inevitable, so instead of wait for them to come kill us, why not hasten their coming so we can be able to shape them to what we want them to be.
When it comes to accellerationism, there is the right wing and the left wing and when it comes to this, Lx which is the Left wing is interested in creating a more equal world after the revolution, since they believe that human conditions can only be improved with technology while the right wing (Rx) believe it would be the beginning of our doom.
