If we check so many fiat notes, we would see inscriptions such as "I promise to pay the bearer on demand..." whatever amount you are transacting. I was talking to someone that money is not physical money is a product of value, in fact, real money is value. This isn't well known in Africa as we believe in tangible wealth, we believe in people who show off their material wealth rather than looking at the intangible wealth. In Africa, if a person doesn't have a big car, or a big house, and spray money at parties, then the person is not rich.
It is important to know that intangible values are vital and they are what makes riches. I was telling someone that investing in yourself and thought is a great type of investment rather than buying another big phone to his list of phones. I made him understand that if intellect wasn't valuable, the law would not put the intellectual property right so people can lay claim, and sell ideas. I was happy he was able to listen to me and has been able to grow himself over the years.
People who move money around in large amounts do not do tedious work, they work on their ideas and use their brains for wealth creation. In Africa here, a lot of people want to be rich but nobody wants to put in the work or the investment into themselves and their future. It is so bad that most Africans do not keep to time and little wonder we have what is known as African Time (the excuse for coming late to any event). If Africans can understand that time is money and the more time being used productively, the more wealthy a person can be, African time would be a thing of the past. Time is needed in everything and it should be converted properly in the right way. A lot of people in Africa especially the youth place value on money over time while in reality, it is important to put a value on time, and thoughts over money. One other reason why Africans waste time is because they are not paid hourly. It is very funny that when Africans travel abroad and need to work and be paid per hour they are always more dedicated but when they are in Africa, they do not do such.
We need to understand that money isn't fiat or physical properties owned by a person. A lot of people buy physical things just to show off but in reality, they are broke. It is important to know that money is time, money is an intellectual investment, and money is not physical cash but an intellectual resource.
I like how you concluded. Nice publication.
