Since we are all in the frenzy of the bear market with the price of Bitcoin going up and down (in simple word, it is unstable), I start to ask myself "Should I hold the coins because I want to, or should I hold the coin because they will bring me passive income in the future?
Either bull or bear, the market is surely going to stabilize at some point and the price will go sideways for a while. In the 2018 bear market, Bitcoin later stabilized around $3000, and it was there was a very long time. Since a lot of people are still scared about Bitcoin going down to $10k, and altcoins dropping with a lighting look graph, the question that pops to the head is "what do I do with my coins?"
I do not have a problem with bagging a lot of utility coins, or any other type of coin if they will produce passive income that can cover for my previous loss, and that is where staking comes into play.
Staking can be a safe haven for a lot of cryptocurrency holders who hold the right coins/tokens, there are a lot of Defi platforms that even allow the staking of stable coins to get earnings in native tokens, this is really a good investment. When you save, or stake your coins/tokens, you expect returns that will cover for the price fluctuations during the moment.
Coins and tokens like SBD, Steem, USDT, PolyCub, Pancake, BNB, and many more projects which you believe in. You do not hold a coin you do not believe in during a bear market, it is like putting the faith of your surgery in the hands of a painter.
Remember to do your own research before staking your funds into any project, so you do not end up losing your funds before the next bull market.

Well, staking is indeed safe heaven but with a lot of people staking their coin, The APR on staking is becoming smaller and extinct on some projects

Yeah, but there are still projects where people earn enough for staking, do not forget that the amount of reward received depends greatly on the amount staked.

I have never done Staking, but I know amazing experiences of returns, certainly can be used as a strategy to support this bearish zone. Thanks @gbenga for sharing this content.
