Distorted Reality

This is yet another unique habit of one of the most successful entrepreneur to have ever walked the earth. Distorted reality is the ability for you to see, hear and even perceive things that isn't there. To some people this may be serious mental condition that needs immediate medical attention. But if you are to use this unique habit to your advantage, it might just become one of your biggest weapon to achieving success. Having a positive distorted reality is similar to having a strong faith and believe in something that is not yet a reality. Imagine, if you feel you haven't prepared adequately for an exam, and it's quite obvious you haven't prepared for the exam. If you enter panic mood, it is more destructive than if you alter your mindset and start believing you have prepared adequately for the exam. You have a better chance of passing that exam by using the distorted reality to your advantage, than entering panic mood and entering the exam hall with little or no confidence of passing the exam. Sometimes, we need to have that believe in ourselves if we want to achieve greatness. Elon Musk, I believe have a distorted reality because he feels as though his level of thinking is beyond ours and he believes strongly about that and it is working just fine for him. Same thing with Mark Zuckerberg. In one of his conferences, he said he was Alien, though he corrected himself and that's maybe he was in public and don't want much attention concerning that. To himself, he thinks he is an alien, because he believes his level of thinking is beyond earth realm and it is also working well for him. You should try and distort your reality to a reality where you are best in what you do, and with time, because of that level of belief, you might actually become one of the best in the world in that particular field.
