Hello Everyone!!! I hope you are having a great time over there? It's really nice to see you visit my blog today and I must say I'm really happy to have a great personality like you visiting my blog today 😊. Thank you once again 💕

There's actually no doubt that one of the trending conversation in the cryptocurrency space is mostly comprising of web3.0. Even though Web 3.0 is an idea for a new iteration of the World Wide Web (www) based on blockchain technology with beneficial features such as decentralisation and token based economics. The astonishing fact is that most existing projects are also migrating into Web 3 by adjusting both their back end and front end codes in accordance with Web 3 available features to ensure that users experience seamless Web 3 features while mostly new developed projects are already built in Web 3.

During my personal research about some newly developed project that supports Web 3.0 compatible features, I came across a newly developed cryptocurrency project known as Point Network and I must say it was really nice learning about the project features and the upcoming developments attributed to this great project.

My content today will majorly be focused on some of the important features you need to know about Point Network which makes it the World's First Full Web 3.0 Architecture ever to exist in the cryptocurrency space. I suggest you grab some delicious fruit juice to digest this content as you ride along with me learning about Point Network .

Introduction to Point Network

png_20220628_170459_0000.png

I stated earlier in the beginning of this context that most cryptocurrency project are now delving into decentralized Internet which is also known as Web 3.0. It's also quite astonishing that some decentralized apps and Web 3 projects do claim to be fully decentralized but unfortunately they aren't decentralized as they claimed due to the fact that they are highly dependent on centralized domains, storage and browser extensions, which gives room for censorship and hacking. Point Network is the game changer as regards to occurrence like this and this is also why I consider Point Network the best when it comes to Web 3.0 because everything becomes decentralised which makes it the first ever full Web3 implementation.

Point Network is a collection of software tools which enables you to experience a seamless and complete decentralized Internet which is free of censorship, mass-surveillance, privacy focused and highly permissionless protocol. The software tends to decentralize the domains such that (. point) can never be censored. Also the storage is decentralized in such a way that any code, files and information related to the website are permanently stored without no censorship. Lastly, user identity is also decentralized by adopting the use of one seed phrase when logging into the all decentralized applications supported by Point Network.

Point Network is an open source software which tends to implement a complete Internet decentralization (Web 3.0) through decentralized storage and decentralized browser with POINT as it native token. It’s a blockchain-based peer-to-peer(P2P) network designed to make the internet more secure, private, fully decentralized, and resistant to censorship operation or activities.

Decentralized Storage

There's actually no doubt that most decentralized storage platforms often have their own native coins or tokens which exist on their blockchain. As regards to Point Network , POINT will not only be used as the storage token but it will also serve as a utility token to relay nodes on the blockchain to ensure maximum censorship resistance and complete Internet decentralization. The storage makes use of Arweave's permaweb in which the website code, posts, images and videos are uploaded and permanently stored in a censorship-resistant manner.

Decentralized Browser

The word browser shouldn't sound strange to you because this is a tool we all use almost everyday whenever we intend to surf the internet. I'm also definitely sure that you are presently reading this post with your beloved browser. The difference between your beloved browser and point browser is that Point browser will be used to access Web 3.0 which implies that the browser will prohibits any connections related to the old internet (Web 1 and Web 2) as this makes the browser a fully decentralized one.

Some Beneficial Features to Expect on Point Network

png_20220628_171624_0000.png

Since Point Network is going to be implementing a complete Internet decentralization, it connotes that users are liable to more beneficial features stated below;

  • Decentralized Identities
    Point Network will ensure there's more to user privacy in terms of user email, username, user transaction IDs and many others. This can be well explained by saying that you will be allowed to have your personal identity (e.g @hardaeborla) which will be assigned to you as your identity. With this unique identity (@hardaeborla), your social media friends will be able to find you through your unique identity, you would automatically own (https://hardaeborla.z) domain space and all subdomains to ensure website decentralization, you can automatically be contacted via email with your unique ID (@hardaeborla) instead of using [email protected], people can easily transfer tokens into your wallet by using your unique ID (@hardaeborla) instead of using your wallet address.

  • Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (DAO)
    One of the major reason behind the existence of Decentralized Autonomous Organisations (DAO) is to automate decisions and facilitate cryptocurrency transactions. It's also a great news that most cryptocurrency project are now adopting and implementing DAO operations on their respective blockchain. Point Network plans to resurrect the dream of Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (DAOs) by proposing a set of standards and protocols for them, much like the proposed ERC-20 standard was crucial in the proliferation of Ethereum-based tokens.

  • NFTs and Content Creation
    Another great benefit of Point Network is that content creators are able to place dApp widgets right on their social media profiles which enables them to sell their skills for cool incentives or reward. Also, according to the project Lite paper Non Fungible Tokens will also be considered as quoted below;

Crypto art NFT space, which has become popular recently, would also enjoy synergistic
benefits of having one ecosystem of dApps. Currently, crypto art collectors wanting to
show off their NFTs are restricted in their ability to display the artworks. They have to direct their friends to an obscure website somewhere (or wait for VR digital houses with art on the digital walls to catch up).

This implies that with Point Network users can publicize or showoff their digital skills to the world and get paid for their services including both content creators and NFTs.

This is a well written review. Well done.
Web 3.0 ofcoz is opening up entire wider technological ideas from which the Point network itself laid her foundation. Point Network is indeed a great project.

Thanks for sharing.
