Hello Everyone!! It's really great to see you're having a great day with your gadget scrolling through different blog posts and I'm glad you are reading this post. It's really a great honor and privilege to me 😊.

There's actually no doubt that you might have been hearing about an ongoing massive protest which is going on in Nigeria and this really attracted the attention of different influential people across the world. If you really want to confirm my words, I suggest you visit Twitter and check on the trending tags, you will definitely notice majority of the trending tags are all about #Endsars and Nigerians.

Isaac Newton once stated in his famous law of motion (Newton third law of motion) that "for every action there's always an equal and opposite reaction". This also applies to the "law of cause and effect". This simply implies that for every action or cause, there must definitely be something that must have triggered the effect. Nigerian citizens can't just decide to go on such massive protest without any genuine reasons for their actions.

I'll be sharing with you some reasons why some Nigerians decided to go for such great protest which seems to be attracting lot of people around the world and I hope you'll definitely find this helpful as you read on.

Reasons Behind the Protest

#1 BRUTAL KILLING OF CITIZENS
The Nigerian citizens are complaining about how some people are being killed by the Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS) illegally. Not all SARS engage in such act since they are good ones and bad ones. There have been many complaints about the illegal torture and killings being experienced by the citizens with lot of evidence on social media such as Twitter. The citizens can't take the torture anymore and for this reason they had to create such protest against SARS illegal action with the hope the government will play their part.

#2 EXTORTION FROM INNOCENT CITIZENS

There are many cases of responsible and innocent people being extorted by SARS official for no specific reason other than to earn due to their selfish interest without considering the people involved. I've heard about cases where freelancers, forex traders, crypto traders and bloggers were being extorted by SARS. Some of SARS also understand the fact that you can earn legitimately online without being into cyber crime or fraud while some other set will definitely categorize both a legal and illegal online hustler as fraudsters just to extort from them.

I've heard about a case whereby a student who happened to be a forex trader was extorted by SARS officials despite claiming his innocence with legal evidence but still they extorted from him which led him to commit suicide.

#3 HARASSMENT OF CITIZENS
As humans we all love to be treated with respect and honor. There's actually nothing bad if a criminal found guilty of any crime is harassed or embarrassed but it's really so sad that these set of people tend to harass anyone except you are an influential person. There have been many cases of citizens being harassed for no specific reasons which makes them feel embarrassed.

It is also important to note that some people are always scared whenever they hear the name (SARS) or perceive their presence despite being a clean citizen with no criminal record and I think the reason for this is because of what most of the citizens experienced from them.

It is also important to note that not all SARS are bad as most people claimed but the fact is that the bad SARS officials are the one tarnishing the image of the good ones making it seems that everyone of them is bad.

#4 YOUR OPINION

As you know me to be a voracious learner, I'll also love to hear your opinion about the topic at hand. I'll appreciate if Nigerian citizens on this great platform can also share their reasons for the protest and probably their experience if they have any to share with us.
