There's actually no doubt that we all of have done something silly in one way or the other even though most of these actions doesn't make any sense neither does it brings any personal benefit to us in anyway. Even though i have done a lot of silly things in my life, there is a particular one i can never forget because I nearly got myself injured if not for God's protection there's also a high chance that I would have lost my life due to that incident.

It actually happened when I was still a kid (7 years old). My Dad bought a new car then and we all celebrated it with lot of excitement on our faces. It was really cool bragging about daddy's car with my friends most especially whenever he drove me to different places and occasion with this same lovely car.

Whenever my dad is driving, I used to be astonished about how the car tends to transport us from one place to another probably due to the fact that I was still a kid back then. At the same time, I was also very in love with playing video games and fortunately for me, car racing games were one of my favourite games during those days. I used to be the best game player in car racing game such that I was known amongst my peers as being the number 1 car racer in Gaming.

Then This Happened

On this particular day my dad was not at home, he traveled due to some business activities leaving his car behind due to the fact that he wanted to save himself from the stress of driving long mile since he wasn't also very familiar with the route.

I actually didn't know what came over me then but as people do say it's actually the work of the devil. Something came into my mind telling me to drive the car. I actually wanted to put all what my dad was doing whenever he drove the car into practice. I pulled the hand break and triggered the gear even though I had no knowledge of what I was doing back then.

I noticed the car was reversing since the car was parked near a sloppy surface ground in our compound with our gate widely open which directly leads to the main road. I got scared alone in the car at such a very tender age and I started screaming for help but there was no one to come to my aid. I already thought I was going to die that day because I already lost hope since there was nothing a 7 year old kid like me could back then.

The Brick Pillar

As the car was reversing with the door opened, i noticed the car stopped all of a sudden. My mind was at ease a little bit and I had to rush very quick out of the car with sweat all over my forehead. I noticed the car door (opened) got hooked by a brick which stopped the car from reversing down the road.

I had to quickly go call some adult if they could help me park the car back to it's initial position so that my dad won't know what happened because he's definitely going to get very mad at me seeing how i messed up his car but it was quite unfortunate none of them came to my aid.

Daddy came home and he noticed his car wasn't parked in the position he left it before leaving the house for business trip. It was at this moment he began to suspect something was fishy. He searched round the compound where he later found his car damaged with scratches. It was at this moment I knew he was going to beat the hell out of me.

I really can't stop laughing whenever I think about this moment but all thanks to God today for protecting my life with that unexpected brick, if not who knows where I would be today. It was really a very messy and silly act that nearly got me injured.
