Aliko Dangote, Mike Adenuga, Femi Otedola, Folorunso Alikija, JiMOH Ibrahim, Ozuoma Dozie, Orji Uzor kalu are some of Nigeria's billionaires and possibly in Africa and the world too. There's however a sort of similarity when I look at this people and that's the fact that most of them are business owners, now while some of them have questionable source of income one way or the other, they're all patented by the Nigerian government. Truth is, people who do not have the certificate are employing people who has the degree, certificate and qualification to do the job when it should be the other way round does this proves that educational institution is lacking the ability to show people how to become wealth owners? Does this show that wealth is something you can create out of your own concepts and abilities without needing a degree somehow?
Government controls money and money controls people but then this isn't totally understood, you see people want to be employed, earning far salaries for sitting on a desk and doing nothing, they're scared of becoming entrepreneurs and when you ask them why they can't put their ideas into action they'll tell you that they don't have the capital to start up a business which is mostly the excuse a wannabe entrepreneur always presents. Now it takes one thing to go to college and it takes another thing to be educated. Now one of the reasons why education is Ideal is because it helps one pruned their ideas and concept and of course develop it but then we see college graduates nowadays less motivated and unenthusiastic.
This is affecting the country, because people are waiting for government to create the perfect jobs while government are creating the perfect opportunities and putting it into the hands of a few individuals and leaving these individuals to control the wealth flow to people, provide emolument opportunities and maintain a sort of indirect monopoly. In reality people are lacking real time ideas to make wealth and this is while there's more college graduates and almost no jobs at all. In a scenery where all these graduates are business owners before even going to college it'll mean that places like all these companies and organisations owned by all these billionaires would hypothetically be the one to look for people they'll employ and there'll be no people to employ simply because everyone is doing something unique to create wealth for themselves.

In the 1980s most Nigeria companies were literarily going to universities to handpick people with the best CGPA in other to employ them. It was easy for people to dictate for these companies unlike today where an organisation can fire you for even sneezing. During these times people were mostly traders, farmers and well petty business owners but then they had control over what they did to make money and it was mostly some selected people that had the opportunity to be educated. Nowadays virtually everyone has access to education because it has been digitised and the process is how easier but then education in Nigeria is more about enriching the government who owns these institutions or individuals who owns private universities and not really about prepping students to become independent on their own, having their ideas to settle into the ever demanding economy and of course make their mark.
In conclusion, the billionaires I mentioned started their companies with just ideas and these ideas are what attained conceptualisation. Money and college don't mix and while you can use money to go to college you can't always use a college degree to make money and that's the point. Cryptocurrency has created a more different or diverse opportunities for people to become financially free and free of government's control of people using federal, state and local monopoly. If majority of people let's say hypothetically it'll create a sort of balance AG's reduce the control of government and these billionaires on people. Because these billionaires remains so because they have people at their back and call actualising their dreams, wouldn't be bad if people starts actualising their dreams rather than the dreams of these billionaires.

Hello friend, you are very right when you say that a degree does not guarantee you anything, I believe that it is necessary to act intelligently, there are people without any type of study who generate a lot of income.

I suppose most "developing countries" are struggling, in first line, with excessive corruption. Corruption makes the economy very ineffective and preserves poverty, underdevelopment.

I really believe that not everyone can become business owners but it is a great necessity to always think out of the box when trying to choose a niche for the future.
