Hello friends of Project HOPE, I hope that this week that has just begun is very productive for each of you. Today I want to share with you my vision on a topic that affects us all on a daily basis, but that we rarely question: the economic limits that, without realizing it, we place on ourselves.
I don't know if you've ever thought about it, but many times our financial goals seem to have a ceiling. And it's not that someone tells us how far we can go, but that we create that barrier ourselves. From a young age, we are taught that there is a “safe” way to achieve a certain stability: study, get a good job, and settle for a monthly income that, supposedly, is the most we can aspire to. These thoughts take root, and without realizing it, we end up putting a limit on our income, believing that that's as far as we'll go.

And this is where I want to pause, because it is clear that these ceilings, in most cases, are not real. They are ideas that condition us, they make us believe that earning more or leaving our comfort zone is something that is reserved for a few. But, the reality is that these types of limits can be broken if we are willing to educate ourselves and question what we believe about money and our own abilities.
Financial education, although it may seem like something that only economists care about, is a key tool for any of us. Because when we understand how money works and how we can manage it better, we realize that there are many ways to grow financially. Learning about investments, savings, and different sources of income allows us to see that, if we want, we can build something beyond that “ceiling” that we once set for ourselves.

This does not mean that it is an easy or quick path, of course. Breaking those mental limits requires effort, discipline, and a lot of perseverance. But the point is, if we really want it, we have the power to change our economic situation.
In the end, the important thing is to understand that these economic limits are only as real as we ourselves allow them to be. If we open ourselves to learning and exploring new options, we can overcome these barriers. So the invitation is to not settle, to continue moving forward, and to break those imaginary ceilings. Because economic freedom, like everything, begins in our mind, don't you think?, greetings, and have a great week.
