There is something that particularly has me a little concerned about the economic stability in the country I live in at the moment, and this is Colombia. The president of this country is socialist, that is, left-wing, and Although it is true that being on the right does not guarantee that things will be done well, I am very sure that a right-wing government will cause the country to go into total ruin. Venezuela is an example of this, as is Cuba.

But, there are things that these people on the left seem to not fully understand what the economic part is, I don't know, it's strange to me what they do, what they say, there are no plans that I see with any logic. For example, for some time now I have been seeing what President Petro, president of Colombia, is saying, and it has to do with the use of fossil energy, and how this damages the planet, and yes, I understand it perfectly, but it is This is still the main source of energy, and there is a progressive change towards the so-called green energy, but doing so from one moment to the next is not very likely, and may be rather counterproductive, at least as I understand it.

This president is literally reducing the possibilities of advancement of the Colombian oil company, Ecopetrol, which is the main one in the country, which generates great sources of income for the country, the same happens with coal, this country is a great producer, but * What would happen if these companies stop producing what they now produce for the country?* I think it would not be a very good thing in economic matters.

But it seems that this is not being considered enough, because before eliminating them as a source of income for a country focusing on pollution and damage to the planet, the logical thing would be for it to seek, create, encourage the creation of other income sources. For the country, at least it is the most logical thing.

But it seems that bringing countries to high levels of poverty is a very well-established specialty of left-wing politicians, really, even though I consider my learning capacity to be good, the way these people think is not the end. to understand it.

I only know that before eliminating something you must have something to replace it with, especially considering that it is not a house, but a country. It is a personal opinion that I wanted to share, greetings.
