Hello Project HOPE friends, A great day everyone! Today I want to talk to you about something that has surely happened to all of us at some point: the desire to abandon a goal. Yes, those times when you feel that what you set out to do is further away than you thought or that it simply no longer makes sense to continue. I've been there too, but I'll tell you something: if I've learned anything in this time, it's that giving up is never the best option.
Recently, while editing a video (one of those projects that Franyeli and I have going on), I felt a little overwhelmed. My head was full of ideas, but none of them seemed to advance as I wanted. I took a break, walked away for a while, and then realized something: goals aren't always linear, but they're not impossible either.
Sometimes we believe that if we don't see immediate results, it's better to drop everything and move on to something else. But if you think about it, what really worthwhile goal doesn't require effort and perseverance?
It's like when you go to the gym and after two weeks you hope to have the body you dreamed of. It doesn't work like that, does it? Well, the same thing happens with our personal projects: each day of effort is like a small investment that, over time, bears fruit.
Of course, it's not about being robots and not enjoying the journey either. Sometimes, like last Sunday, you need to go out, relax and recharge your energy. Just because you stop working on your goals one day doesn't mean you're giving up; On the contrary, those breaks can be key to keeping you in the game in the long term.
So, if you're thinking about giving up something you really want, stop for a moment. Breathe. Evaluate why you started and, if that “why” is still there, don't leave it. Goals are not achieved overnight, but I assure you that, with perseverance, you will achieve it.
Some will take longer than expected, but in general, the important thing in almost everything we do is that we be persistent, and that we do not lose focus. Greetings, everyone have a good week.
No matter what, we should keep going after our goals as that is one of the most important thing
