As long as this continues to happen, and I am sure that he will remain in power for a while longer, whatever happens on American soil, and which seriously affects their economy, will also affect the rest of the world.
They are currently discussing the debt ceiling, and they practically have a big show going on with respect to that issue, everyone is waiting for it to be raised, and every moment some representative comes out to say that they are reaching agreements between Republicans and Democrats.
Yes, I particularly think that they have a kind of a show on the road, and that they already have an answer to all of that. However, I don't know to what extent it could happen that ultimately they don't reach any agreement, and that debt ceiling doesn't get extended. Could this reality favor some people and become the next black swan?
Everyone takes it for granted that they will raise it, but what if they don't? Would they respond more aggressively with interest rate hikes? Everything remains to be seen, and for sure there will be very tough weeks ahead, with a lot of volatility in the markets, as well as great opportunities, we just have to be attentive and be prepared.
