Hello Project Hope community, today I have a reflection I'd like to share with you all. On Sundays, I generally lead a bit more relaxed life, so I can take a moment to reflect on some of the week's issues, and that's what I very often tend to write about.
We live so hurriedly, immersed in the everyday, that there are important and potentially momentous details in our lives that we overlook.
Perhaps some small detail of someone around us could give us a great idea, some problem that we could help to solve and gives us that push we need, but we are constantly immersed in matters of the past, which are of little or no use to us now.
I am not saying that we should live immersed in other people's reality, but I am saying that it is very good and also necessary to be more aware of our present moment, life has its own particular ways of speaking to us, of giving us some options, that if we are not attentive we could waste them.
I also consider that it is good to contemplate other realities, many times we tend to complain about what we have to live, when the truth is that we are so fortunate to live as we do, to have what we have, but we insist on seeing what we lack, this is a bad trick that we do to our mind, condemning it to focus on the lacks.
There will always be things that we feel that we lack, the issue in this case is to determine if what "we lack " is really something that arises from us or that somehow has entered our mind pretending to be a real need...
In opportunities I usually think if at the present time, having so many things, human beings are happier than we were as a human species 10 thousand years ago, in spite of not having the current advances. I tend to think that the fact of having so many possibilities of everything makes us believe that we deserve everything and when we do not achieve it, we feel a certain degree of frustration from time to time.
There are those who say that "things are badly distributed ", the detail here is Who distributed them?, History?, A special power?, I do not intend to enter into political or religious topics, we are going in which it is usually difficult to reach neutral points, but I am sure of something, that it is useless to look for culprits, the ideal is that we assume our reality, that we feel comfortable and grateful with what we have, but that we are not conformists, we can always be better.
I must emphasize that it is not about knocking down others to achieve it, nor to take from others to have, but to work for what we want, to be aware of the present, of everything we have in our favor and use it for our benefit without forgetting that every step we take will bring a future effect, and that it would be best to do it well, so that those effects are the most positive for us and those around us.
I hope you have an excellent week. Greetings.

Sometimes we complain about everything. You only need to go out to a hospital to see how privileged many of us are. Taking the other person's side, apart from making us feel better, leads us to value. Life is not about eccentricities, we are the ones who have made it look like that. Thank you for this thoughtful publication

Going to a hospital, working in a hospital is an experience that makes anyone realize that they are very fortunate to have what they have, to have a good state of health. Thank you for commenting

Very profound statement @josevas217. I try really hard to do this. When I do, it often makes me happier. When I'm having a bad day, I say, "It could be worse." And I ask myself "What am I thankful for." And thank God I don't live 200 years ago or something...I could never live without internet...hehe.

Ha ha ha ha ha ha
Yes, once you've tasted the benefits of the internet it's hard to imagine a world without it. I wouldn't have wanted to be in this world 200 years ago either...not without the internet.
We are fortunate in many ways @fijimermaid, one only has to look around us, without being too meticulous, to realize that.

Hi dear friend @josevas217
I totally agree friend, we can be better, it is not easy, we must make an effort, we will not improve just because, I think that in that sense being better refers to being more intelligent when investing our money to get more performance and thus being more spiritual. and kind to other people.
regards
