Greetings friends of Project HOPE, today I want to share some interesting things about a book I am reading, and this is The Richest Man in Babylon, for months I was giving it a little time to read it, and the reality The thing is that now, due to a short circuit in the complex where I live, we are without electricity, which has led me to step away from the PC and start reading it.
I'll probably read it in its entirety today, because it's not very long, it's only 150 pages, so I think I'll finish reading it, but while I was reading, there was one phrase, among many, that caught my attention, to tell the truth, there are several things that I have already been writing down.
To be more specific, in the case of my country of origin, Venezuela, it can be easily seen that they have made any possibility of progress very difficult, complicating the actions of companies, intimidating them, constantly increasing taxes, and putting laws in place so that do not progress This makes unemployment increasingly higher, making it impossible for citizens to live with dignity, and not even think about the possibility of saving.
Without savings, much less without financial education, it is impossible for there to be prosperity in a family, because they live day to day, literally, eating poorly, and the time they spend trying to solve the most basic things, such as food, that is just a reflection of how economic policies can impact citizens
The first has to do with the fact that a nation will be prosperous if each individual in this nation is prosperous, it seems very logical, and easy to see, but even so it is a problem that in real life is not contemplated, much less addressed. On the contrary, it seems that some do everything possible to ensure that this is not the case, especially when we see how some governments act.
Unfortunately, this impact is generally negative, surely if it were used to have a positive impact, it would be very beneficial for the countries that choose this, because undoubtedly, a nation will be prosperous if each individual in this nation is prosperous, Don't you think? seems?.
