You can say that. No need for excuses but sometimes some excuses are valid. Imagine, setting up a business and the pandemic happened and the business failed, won't it be valid to say, your business failed because the pandemic. We are smart when everything works to our plan, and we re failures when everything didn't work as plan, not so fair.
