Leung Julia, who is the current Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC), has recently accepted that Bitcoin has shown resilience in the chaotic ups and downs seen in markets.

Julia, who is highly respected as a regulator in Hong Kong confessed in the Greenwich Economic Forum that the continuous growth of Bitcoin has been remarkable. She noted that Bitcoin has been the biggest crypto in the past fifteen years, despite the pumps and dumps; Bitcoin has been increasing in value.

This acceptance of Bitcoin's value by Julia, is timely as there's been some debate about the usefulness of Bitcoin as a hedge against inflation. Julia confessed that reputable executives in the banking sector and financial professionals have been coming to terms with Bitcoin resilience.

Julia emphasized that the expansion of the Web3 platform has been significant. However, Julia stated that virtual assets are dynamic by their nature, and quick price fluctuations can be seen. Julia mentioned that her statement wasn't meant to be encouragement to purchase cryptocurrency without doing proper investigation.
