At the end of the day, only the person who won is recognised and regardless of the effort, time and resources poured into a project, the successful outcome matters most. well, there is no guarantee that you will get it right on the first trial, but the experience gathered along the way will play its role towards accomplishing the goal in the end. With that said, let us dive into why failing should be embraced.
Failure is part of the learning process: People always feel that failing means giving up; I beg to differ. Failing to me means that you have leant that the ideology you had before now will not help accomplish the outcome you desired at that time of execution. When a project is to be executed, and all inputs have been thrown at getting the desired output, when that process is finally executed and fails, the person will have a piece of better knowledge as to why it failed. Failure provides a piece of first-hand knowledge of what will not work in other to ascertain a specific goal. Failing is a learning process in which the assessor gets an in-depth knowledge of what could be done better to achieve a set goal when appropriately accessed.
Failing is a step towards success: Never be afraid to fail, as failure allows you to go again and, this time, be better. Failure is a step towards attaining success. When you fail, you tend to take notes of what you missed the last time and this time, you work harder on those places that brought failure the last time out, and then you fix them. This way, it is appropriate to say that failure is part of the step towards achieving success. By failure, you move forward in your timeline. The prominent innovators did not get it once; their success came from a series of failures before finally learning and applying lessons learnt from those failures. Now they are people that everyone wants to associate themselves with.
Failing means you are trying: If you never tried, you will never fail; if you never fail, you will never learn or achieve a goal. It is better in my books to fail as it means that you tried or are trying. A person who failed is 10X better than someone who never tried. By failing, you know your capacity, your shortcomings, and of course, where you could improve. Failing is all part of the life process, and it has been part of our lives from toddlers. A key example is a toddler who wanna start walking. He starts from crawling to trying to stand upright. The toddler's tendency to fall in an uncountable number of times is very high. nevertheless, the baby who will walk will have fallen times without a number.
Hi @lebey1, I totally agree with you, failure is an indicator that you are trying to do things, from these failures a significant learning is generated where you learn firsthand how things should be done.
So long, have a great week.

Successful people never sees failure but they see it as a learning process to get to success. While others see failure as limitations, successful people see it as a stepping-stone.
