A noticeable update will be received by the taskbar in Windows 10, as Microsoft adds a weather and news widget that can be expanded by clicking on it to display more details.
The widget will work permanently to show you the weather without the need to open the Start menu, and clicking on and expanding it displays more relevant news for each user according to their interests and location, stock news, currency rates, weather and more.
Microsoft uses its news network as a source of information and content that is gathered from more than 4,500 trusted sites and sources, and uses artificial intelligence to collect content and present it to users on a targeted basis.
When you click on any link within the widget, it will open it completely as a web page in Edge browser.
The company today began testing it on those who join the program to test the new Windows 10 features, and it will later be officially available to all users as an official update.
If you don't like this update, you can remove it to keep the taskbar simple, and Microsoft promises that it will not place any ads in the widget.
Every once in a while Microsoft tests something similar, remember the People app in the taskbar? Which used to allow quick and easy access to contacts, but it only supported the Skype and Mail app.
