According to an article socialized by Lucas Kiely the year 2024 will be decisive for cryptoinvestors to become sophisticated with derivatives, namely the cryptocurrency market in recent years has gained ground among investors but particularly among traditional traders.
In this regard and in Kiely's words, "During the bull boom of 2017, initial coin offerings (ICOs) were all the rage. The last bull market, in 2021, was dominated by the growth of decentralized finance (DeFi) and yield farmin."
For Kiely, "as a new bull cycle gains momentum, 2024 will bring a variety of more sophisticated financial products on blockchain," in my view certainly next year will mark the consolidation of the cryptocurrency market.
Another element that struck me and I agree with is that with this healthy price recovery we are seeing at the forefront as we close this year, "we are also seeing more sophisticated derivative products, such as the rise of decentralized perpetual futures trading and innovative risk management mechanisms. This will be a key area for innovation as we move into the new year."
In closing, in Kiely's words "as the anxiety induced by the crypto winter subsides, investors will once again seek high returns on their digital assets. But this time, we can expect less interest in yield farming due to the high risk of hacks."
