Greetings and welcome dear readers of this prestigious platform, back with my usual publications associated with the development of science, this time we have decided to share some advances that are being developed at the level of ALZHEIMER and how anti-inflammatory drugs play a key role in the control of the medical condition exposed.
It is no secret that people suffering from this disease have a considerable deterioration at the brain level, produced by neurodegeneration and cognitive impairment of the brain, which is characterized by immediate memory loss as nerve cells die increasingly, generating atrophy in different parts of the brain.
Based on the above, it is estimated that more than 24 million people suffer from this clinical condition, which is already beginning to be seen as a public health issue that affects more people every day.

In this regard, several studies are being carried out to detect the incidence of some drugs and the control of the disease, among which the research carried out by Dr. Patrick Aloy, from the Structural Bioinformatics and Network Biology laboratory at IRB Barcelona, stands out.
who has been able to detect the incidence of common non-steroidal anti-inflammatory and antihypertensive drugs by means of a molecular analysis that allows the quantification of gene expression and protein levels at the brain level, which affects the area of tissues associated with the hippocampus.
From there, the researcher highlights that the disease is associated with the disordered or abnormal accumulation of proteins, product of failures in their elimination. To detect this overaccumulation, he has used complex computational processes associated with the chemical organization of three-dimensional form, which allows to analyze the molecular behavior of stored proteins and how these are affected and reduced by treacherous drugs available on the market.
Among the results obtained, it has been possible to detect that certain non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and two antihypertensive drugs are effective in reversing the pathology, at least in the tests that have been carried out with rodents, hence, it has presented a direct correlation, where those people who have the disease but who have been taking this type of medication are less prone to a degenerative development of the brain.
Thus, this type of research opens a range of possibilities that allow us to address this problem that affects more and more people every day.

Hello @madridbg, Alzheimer's is one of the most worrying diseases of our era, the speed of degeneration with no return is alarming.
Any hopeful breakthrough in treating this disease or at least uncovering a clue that helps the investigation is important.
