Greetings dear readers of these prestigious platform, in our desire to diversify our blog, we have incorporated various themes that allow us to address different areas of knowledge, among which stand out; scientific, social, economic and environmental.
Based on the above, this installment allows for an integration of scientific knowledge and the natural components of our environment, so that we are able to understand how the chemical and metabolic systems of our body they can be influenced by systems associated with our nature and daily activities. In such a way that we will support ourselves in the community of @projecthope, to socialize this type of theme.
CONCEPTUAL APPROACH TO THE SUBJECT
In order to understand the content that is desired to be socialized, it is necessary to introduce the reader to the subject, in such a way that we will start by mentioning that hormones are specialized chemical substances that are secreted by cells at the level of endocrine glands and epithelial cells, which They have the direct purpose of generating a direct influence on other cells.
Chemically, they are protein molecules that have the ability to prevent diseases and pathologies that affect the endocrine system. Similarly, they behave as chemical messengers that also include neurotransmitters and pheromones.

In such a way that these chemical substances are versatile since they fulfill different functions in our body and are present throughout it, they move through the bloodstream and reach the organs and tissues, which affects performance of people in the mood and even in the appetite.
Understanding the operation described above, it is necessary to take into account that time, old age, sedentary lifestyle and our accelerated pace of life gradually affect these important chemical substances present in our body and that It fulfills diverse functions at the cellular level, hence it is necessary to maintain a harmonic balance of them in order to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Therefore, let's analyze some variations that we can make to our lifestyle to maintain a healthy balance at the hormonal level, among these changes are:
1. Provide your body with a balanced protein level, remember that proteins at the body level are extremely important since they provide our organisms with the necessary amino acids for functioning, in the same way the endocrine system uses them to increase the levels of hormones that we have lost by our pace of life.
2. Stay active and exercised: studies show that physical activity is essential to maintain a healthy balance at the hormonal level, in the same way it improves blood flow at the muscular level, which increases sensitivity of hormone receptors.
At a clinical level, daily aerobic exercise routines have the ability to reduce insulin levels and increase its sensitivity. Let us remember that this substance is responsible for allowing cells to absorb sugar dissolved in the bloodstream and used by our body at a metabolic level as energy, when the balance of insulin fails, diseases such as diabetes and obesity occur.

3. Reduce stress levels: let us remember that when negative events occur, our body is capable of producing chemical substances such as cortisol, also known as a stress hormone, which aims to control and balance our metabolism of unexpected events.
However, when we are subjected to constant stress, we can suffer from Cushing's syndrome, a clinical pathology associated with excess cortisol in the blood and is responsible for pathologies such as obesity, erectile diffusion, acne, lack of sexual libido, amenorrhea, arterial hypertension, among others.

4. Establish an adequate sleep frequency, not even the best diet or exercise routine can supply a pleasant rest as a mechanism to restore our system, the absence of sleep can produce the excessive release of hormones such as cortisol, leptin, insulin, among others. others. Hence, this practice is so important and valuable for our body.
Without a doubt, they are practical if you want them to be simple, which allows us to keep our system balanced in a natural way, without having to resort to chemical substances foreign to our body, such is the case of specialized medicines for this task.

Hello @madridbg
You have broadly explained in a simple way what a hormone is and what it does. It is really very complex the function of this in our body, and even more interesting the mechanisms that the body uses to maintain a balance in production and elimination.
They are necessary chemicals in the body to keep me functioning properly.
