Work On Something Every Day: Compounding Your Steem Growth

When you first join the STEEM Blockchain, it can be easy to get lost in the work of it.

The complexities of the blockchain, along with writing, networking, and curating can make STEEM a full time job.

The promise of an income can have you believe you are "working" when in reality you are creating pennies. Making less than minimum wage.

This can lead to burn-out followed by abandonment, or even rage quitting.

How can we avoid that?

Work on something every day

I love writing and would love to write all day every day. If I had already filled all my financial goals and never had to work another day in my life, I would spend the day writing.

That doesn't mean that I have time to dedicate to writing every day.

Even if I can't write, I aim to do something for my account on a daily basis

You don't have to do everything every day, any one of these actions will keep your account growing.

Follow writers that you like to read: On days when you don't have much time, upvote read and comment from your friends list, that keeps you relevant in your personal community bubble.
Be active in a community: Log onto your community, read an article, leave a comment. Consider commenting on the other comments and extending the conversations.
Log in and Collect your rewards. The more STEEM Power is in your account, the faster the interest will stack up.
Play a game on the blockchain
Invest in a project, many of them you can get started with just one steem.
Chat on discord or connect with a community member outside of the blockchain.

Logging in Daily, even if you don't blog still helps you grow your account.

Every upvote, comment, and post you read helps you become a more proficient member of the community.

Also, just HOLDing Steem Power can grow your account exponentially, you never know who is air dropping and using steem holdings as reference points to where they should airdrop.

Same here. At least aday I always love to either write or perhaps get engaged through comments on the blockchain. Something must be found doing each day

Hmm.... This is really very inspiring and I am also quite impressed with the tips you gave. I've actually been using most of those tips and I must tell you that they are really working for me here on Steemit. It's actually been long since I've played games built on the steem blockchain though but I guess I may have to try some of them out if I am less busy.

I had a few months where it was nearly impossible for me to write. I used that time to play splinterlands and now I have hundreds of dollars worth of cards.

Drugwars is still on this blockchain and tends to be fun.
