When it comes to travelling on a long distance, flight is the most convenient and mostly used means to travel. Although it is fast, it is one of the highest emitter of carbon in the atmosphere. Airplanes release carbon emissions as result of its fuel and airplanes consume a lot of fuel.

There are a lot of people who will be travelling in the future, and there will be a larger number of cargo planes as well. It is no doubt that with the way planes will continue to increase in numbers as aviation companies will want to increase their fleets, and the number of travel will increase with the increase in population and the rise of people from the poor to the middle class giving them the ability to afford air travel, then the carbon emission released will be very high. In other to solve this problem, there need to be another way to make planes work without fuel.

There are a lot of innovative flying drones, cars, and other craft using electricity and since Tesla has brought a difference in the automotive world and this is spreading gradually into the aviation world. There have been the use of small planes to test emission process as well as how long it would take with electricity.

Currently, electric planes are tested for short flight and they are not carrying humans. It is done automatedly. The battery life needs to be strong and the battery needs to less heavy as weights is considered for air flight. Currently, there are no fully functioning electric plane but the fact remains that if the life of battery can be increased and the weight of batteries reduced, electric planes will be possible in the future.

Hello friend, the truth is a breakthrough, every day the technology is more perfect, I think that also for the environment would be something beneficial and today we must think a lot about our planet as each time this worse and it is thanks to us humans. Greetings!

Hi @mojubare
I think that's the big detail to be solved of all electrical. What it has to do with the battery, with the duration of the charge.
And also the weight and volume of it.
That's going to get better, and I'm sure in the next few years that will be achieved.

Hello @mojubare, just when I was reading the title of your post, I thought about the size of the batteries for this electric plane and the duration of the battery charge, but even more curious for me is the possibility of recharging the battery during the flight

Likewise, your post made me think about whether this possibility of electric plane would affect in any way: the regular heights "of the flight", the development speeds of the planes and the travel times.

In any case, an interesting and very close possibility continues to be felt in our immediate future, in my opinion.

See you soon..!
