With Augmented Reality (AR), info-overlay makes it possible to apply digital data over real-life physical environment in a way that it adds value to the end user in many ways as well as in functional use in many industries. Unlike Virtual Reality (VR) in which the counterfeit environment replaces real space, Augmented Reality inverts real space and augments it with digital content.

AR in retail helps in visualizing where the products will fit into the buyers’ homes without purchasing through an application where you place furniture in your house. Thus, in education, AR helps to make the subject more appealing and can facilitate effective means of learning offering an interactive experience. Instead of visiting tour attractions, they can virtually visit historical sites, or have a virtual look at the internal organs of organisms or any other form of life, thereby making the process much easier and interesting.

In another field, augmented reality has the application in the healthcare where surgeons wear the AR glasses to provide live data and a 3D model of the area being operated on to improve precision and results. First and foremost, AR is rapidly changing the existing industries such as gaming, navigation, and real estate with more emphasized and engaging experiences.

Thus, I predict that new advancements in AR technology will begin to be developed, and this technology will increasingly find sophisticated applicability to provide solutions in various fields and improve people’s daily experiences. Various aspects of life can benefit from the use of Augmented Reality which has the potential of enhancing prospective of efficiency, interest, and comprehension of issues in a manner that has not been mimicked before.
