The very first day I heard about Cuban cigar was in a movie and the price was seriously astonishing, a box of the cigar cost $1,680 and when I heard it I was like why on earth will anyone buy a cigar that is as expensive as that so I began my research because I was really interested in knowing what the cigar contained that makes it as expensive as that.

Components of the Cuban cigar.

The Cuban cigar is made from five different types of leaves, the first one is the Ligero leaf which is the one that provides strength to the cigar, the second one is the Seco which is the one that gives the desired aroma to the cigar the third is the Volado leaf which is responsible for the combustion that take place inside the cigar, the fourth leaf is called the Binder and it is the leaf responsible for wrapping the Ligero, seco and the Volado together, the fifth leaf is known as the wrapper and it is the one that dresses the wrapper.

The consistency of the Cuban cigar has been like that for up to twenty years and if not more, there is a particular cigar wrapper in the industry who said he has been in the business of wrapping cigars for 45 years and he is well respected in the industry, he is an old man of 61 years and someone who has been moulding cigar for 45 years seriously deserves that respect indeed.

Competition for Cuban Cigar.

There are of course several competitions but none has been able to beat the quality of the Cuban cigar and the director gave his opinion about this, he said the seed has been stolen as well as the manual labour but the soil and climatic condition of the place where the seed is been planted has always provided an higher advantage for the Cuban cigar company.

The taste and flavour of the Cuban cigar is indeed unique from other cigars, the cigar depict class and value and this even makes other productions that is similar to the Cuban cigar to be as well pricey just like the Cuban cigar, those that can afford the Cuban cigar are the high classed individuals of the society and if there is any cigar that is less pricey it might just be considered unauthentic/fake automatically.

After reading all of this, I knew the difference in the cigar will just be in the flavour and aroma, since I have not tasted one I would not know how it truly tastes but I am certain the flavour must be unique indeed.
