Different types of bio-plastics

Bioplastics are made with different types of materials. Which can be eaten and acts as food for our body. Which again fits in the presence of water, which is water proof.

1. Starch based:
   About 50% of bioplastics are produced from starch. This is called thermo-plastic starch. Starch-based bio-plastics are made from a mixture of various ingredients such as Polylactic acid, Polybutylene Adipate Terephthalate, Polybutylene Succinate, Polycaprolactone, and Polyhydroxyalkanoates.

1. Cellulose:
   Cellulose can be mixed with bio-plastics to make a material that can easily hold water and air. Different packets can be made as it is transparent. Can be easily converted into compost.

2. From protein:
   Various light boxes can also be made from proteins such as soy or wheat. Of course, proteins absorb water, so they need to be used for water contact.

1. Jute:
   Researchers in Bangladesh make gold bags from jute which will easily mix with the soil. It will be seen in the market very soon inshallah.
