The CEO of TRON, Justin Sun revealed a new version for application some days ago.

Sun advocated the improvement, labelled TRON 4.0, as a major rival to Ethereum 2.0, and he held a poll for Twitter users to vote on which upgrades have made more success.

Twitter has become the site of TRON and Ethereum competition, usually headed by Sun.

The TRON 4.0 upgrade launched on May 22 is expected to improve confidentiality, interoperability of blockchain, and overall advancements in the use of the application, as announced by Sun.

Sun did not, however, divulge any detailed information on the upgrade or date to be launched.

Perhaps his tactic, as other users have suggested, was to declare his project in a way, by using the opportunity of the attention given to Ethereum 2.0, and attract people to his project.

Sun asked the public on Twitter which initiatives is stronger, in a poll conducted on 23 May.

The poll got votes of 102,000, comments of 1.2,000, and retweets of 729. TRON 4.0 received 51.9 per cent of the overall vote, with Ethereum 2.0 earning the other 48.1 per cent.

At the end of the poll, Justin Sun then tagged the Ethereum Boss Vitalik Buterin, to seem the poll result.

Nevertheless, the polled might've been compromised, as many observers of the cryptocurrency market have pointed out.

The host of Colin Talks Crypto said the CEO of TRON acquired the votes in compromising way, probably paid for the votes.

Other Twitter users wondered how the sentiment against Tron got a turnaround over the night, with little engagement on his eventual votes.

Several users came to realize what happened, accusing Justin Sun of vote-rigging to achieve results.

A user figured that the market valuation for 30,000 Twitter votes corresponds to about $990. This does not appear to be a reasonable use of the funds of an investor.

Lately, Sun has tried to battle Ethereum to raise the value of TRON.

Another user notably commented that Sun felt the survey was so relevant that he went ahead to rig it, and now open to all.

More damage must have been caused than if he just allowed the poll to be lost to Ethereum.

A follower of TRON then defended that both parties could be found guilty of manipulating the vote, even though Ethereum didn't pay the same focus on the poll as TRON did.
