Coinbase is a leading global crypto exchange and they have a huge user base across the world. This is the first crypto exchange that is listed in the stock market and has done an IPO. IPO is a process companies follow to get an initial round of funding in the market and it can also be an opportunity for many investors to get some nice returns. IPO is the new thing in crypto and with coinbase, this has started however we are yet to see another crypto doing the same so far. Let's see which exchange grows more and decide to bring their stock and bring IPO.
The coinbase exchange has launched its operation in India despite worrying about the current situation and lack of crypto regulation in the country. It's certainly a good move by the exchange and coinbase is expanding its global presence however they seem to have bigger plans for India and for this they are going to higher more than 1000 employees this year. As of now, they have around 300 people working for coin base and with this hiring, they are going to have over 1300 strengths for its Indian operations.
Global crypto exchange Coinbase's co-founder & CEO Brian Armstrong said the company plans to hire 1,000 more people for its India center this year. existing strength of 300. “We are excited to tap into the dynamic Indian software talent to build out our products and will continue to invest heavily in our India hub.
It's good that now crypto is contributing well in form of employment and not just coinbase but other exchanges are also hiring a lot. I have seen advertisements by Indian exchange as well for the hiring and there are many positions that will remain remote all the time which is really nice because people from any location can be employed. Since crypto is built of high-end technology so working remotely is a good option for employees to work from their place and this saves a lot of travel time.
The covid pandemic has affected the job market badly and in the last 2 years, many people have lost their job and even had to go through salary cuts. It's good that now crypto is a new and added segment that is doing good and bringing more opportunities for the people to be part of and I think that the government needs to look in this area and must consider making it legal.
Crypto is not just for trade instead it's an industry that is growing fast and the amount of innovation is too high which is why things are growing and evolving. I believe that in new few years it can be one of the sectors that will generate millions of jobs across the world and intimately it's going to help people by doing trade or something. The more people hiring also is a signal that crypto infrastructure is going to be good here which means we can expect great crypto products and **services coming in.
Thank you so much
Stay Safe
Greetings @reeta0119, I am glad that the economy in your country has improved depending on the world of cryptocurrencies, since the presence of an Exchange to say somehow so large would generate a substantial pulse in the economy of digital assets in your country and even more when I know from a good source that the government has implemented the payment of tax that in many cases exceeds 30%, which represents a quite considerable figure for small medium and large investors.

India has always been touted as the most untapped crypto investor market, so I think more crypto exchanges are going to open services there in the foreseeable future
