The standard DDR4 version was published on 25/09/2012, after its release and gradually, "revisions after revisions" of it appeared increasing its speed and capacity and by 2015 we had 16gb DDR4 RAM with a frequency of 2133 Mhz, now we have RAM memories with frequencies up to 2933 MHz, with processors that take full advantage as could be the (Corsair VENGEANCE LED) De 16gb or in its pro version, widely used by gamers/streamers.

Now, in this 5 generation of Rams DDR or (Double Data Rate), which is practically around the corner, being the pioneers of this generation a company based in Taiwan, which has just announced its DDR5 memories, for gaming under its brand Golden Emperor International "Polaris RGB".
Socket | Modules | Format | Voltage | Frequency | Latency |
DDR5 | 16-up-to 32GB | DIMM | 1.1 V | 5,600 MHz | CL40-40-40 |

The most interesting thing about DDR5 memory is its overclock, designed for the gaming market. In that case the configurations under development are the following:
DDR5-6000 with latencies CL-32-36-36.
DDR5-6400 with CL-32-36-36 latencies.
DDR5-6800 with latencies CL-36-44-44.
DDR5-7200 with CL-36-44-44 latencies.
Now we have to take into account that each DIMM is no longer one 64-bit channel, but two 32-bit channels.
At the moment we really know little about DDR5 support, on the part of next generation CPUs. Intel and AMD have released memory controllers capable of operating at different speeds, depending on the speed of the memory installed in the system, which indicates that they are opening the compass for this next generation of DDR.
It is expected that by the last quarter of this year 2021 these Rams memories will be available, but not before announcing motherboards with the new support.

Interesting, your article @rubenp has updated me, I had stayed with the DDR3 memories and now thanks to your article I just found out that the DDR5 is about to come out.
Best regards!!
