Each new day that comes should come with its own motivation. There should be something that needs to make you to rise up and take up actions towards the pursuit of a task or a dream - this is motivation. If you do not have a reason to wake up each day, you will be surprised how sweet sleep will be. For each new day that comes, there is a need for motivation to make you do what needs to be done. Just to let you know, the motivation you had yesterday may not be enough to sustain you for today's activities, so you need daily dose of motivation. Here, we shall be taking a look at how to stay motivated daily.

The first and obviously one of the best ways to stay motivated is to have clear goals. This is not just limited to the long-term goals but the daily short-term goals that can prompt you to take steps. For example; you may have a goal to read a book in 1 week, but you can also break it down to chapters per day. You can say, each day, you will read 2 chapters and summarise it. This will give you a daily motivation, not just waiting for when you will finish the book in one week. What daily goal does is to give you the zeal and enthusiasm to pursue after the larger goal and to make you to take actions towards it. Also know that the goals have to be clear, simple and easy to understand, so that it will be easy to be done.
In addition to having clear goals, you also need to develop a morning routine. That is, something that you have formed as a positive habit that will help you to stay on course. Having a strong morning routine can actually set the course for a more productive day. These morning routines can include exercise, daily walk, meditation, etc. When you have undergone this, it will set the pace for the rest of the day. Having a positive daily habit or routine helps to prepare your mind to face the activities of the day and also tackle its challenges.
The next motivator is to stay in the midst of positive people. When you have people motivating you to take positive steps, then you do not know how blessed you are. When I was in school, there was this guy that I normally enjoyed his company. Each time I visited him, he would be engaged in positive things - maybe studying his books, running some practicals, etc. By seeing him, I would also feel motivated to do likewise. I had to make him my reading partner then because of the motivation I derived from him. You need to be surrounded by the people who will help you to generate the zeal and enthusiasm to pursue after your dreams, not the people that will prevent you from taking steps.
Another thing to motivate yourself with is to reflect on your pasts. When you wake up with a reflection of your actions that yielded success, you will have the energy to also take more steps, knowing that you will still succeed at it. Each passing day, try to remember at least one thing that you have done in the past that brought you gain. While it will make you to stay grateful, it can also give you the boost to keep taking actions and relevant steps. As a student for example, your past exam successes can actually serve as a motivation to become more studious, so that you can achieve even better academic success is the subsequent exams.

A very important motivator that we shall also be looking at is to maintain a positive mindset, and try to always look at the bright and positive side of life. It is true that you will be met with challenges, but what determines how you handle them is your mind. Thinking positively does not mean that everything is going well for you, rather it means that you choose to see the light inside the tunnel. Tough times may come to you, but you need to remain optimistic and have a positive mindset, then focus on the solution that you hope to see and not the problems that you see. Also remember to speak positively. Your words also influence your actions and of course, they determine your line of action. When you think and speak positively, you will begin to act positively.
