What should our real concerns be?

Looking at an analogy that seems to be very natural for human beings, is that I understand the reasons why humanity has always been more concerned about what happens on the outside and gives less interest to what happens inside, or is it that we have not seen how people are more concerned about what other people do, when the reality is that those same people are neglected with problems of all kinds.

Always analyzing human nature I have come to the conclusion that we are that way by nature, since as a generalized society we also have that habit, I was reading in an article, the existing concern that the asteroid YR4 collide with our planet in December 2032 is of 2.2% probability of occurrence.

So my analysis is as follows:

It is not that it does not require an alarm that there is a probability of 2% that this asteroid collides with the earth, but perhaps we can be calm because there is a 98% that it does not collide with the planet earth, now why worry primarily that it comes from outside and has a 2% probability of occurrence, if rather we have various evils such as global warming and climate change that directly affects us daily and in which there are quite alarming forecasts.

All this makes me think that, the day I worry about something else when I really have to worry about myself first, then is when I will think that it is normal within human nature, since we always worry about what comes from the outside, but we do not worry about what develops within us.
