Greetings dear readers, this time I want to share with you a topic that has to do with the activities that human beings carry out against our mother nature, yes friends I am talking about forest fires and their impact on vegetation.
Forest fires are known as fires that spread in an uncontrolled manner and affect everything around them (fauna and flora). Currently the state of Amazonas is one of the places that is most affected in times of extreme drought, which significantly affects the vegetation not only at the time, but this effect lasts for long periods of years.
Studies show that these fires affect small and medium vegetation in wetlands that have been burned, affecting the production of carbon in a natural way (biomass).
This could be corroborated with observations recorded from the fire that was generated in 2015, as a result of a severe drought that gave rise to the El Niño effect and in which the biodiversity of the Amazon was seriously affected.
Based on this fire, an exhaustive investigation was carried out and it became evident that the most affected vegetation were saplings, shrubs and seedlings. After about 3 years, the small and medium-sized trees ended up dying. It is also important to highlight how the biomass is affected in these areas, since if we compare the land that was not burned, we could see that the biomass was stable, while in the burned land there was a 12.8% decrease in biomass.
In this sense, vegetation growth and carbon production was also influenced by the fires, since trees with lower density wood grew rapidly on burned land and large trees generated greater biomass, compared to areas that had not been burned.
It is also important to highlight the large amount of Carbon Dioxide (CO2) that has been generated in these forest fires and therefore the secondary effects that its emission brings to the planet. These uncontrolled burnings are responsible for 50% of the greenhouse effect gases, since CO2 is responsible for increasing the earth's temperature.
In the near future, research will be carried out to regulate large fires in the Amazon. The proposals consist of studying the possible threats and dangers that can cause fires and the impact that fire can have on vegetation, taking into account the characteristics of the plants.
Developing efficient strategies to help prevent fires in the Amazon and other places helps to strengthen environmental management, so that the impact of man's hand on the carbon cycle in the affected areas can be measured.

We all knows how vital those tree is to humanity. When ever I see such fires as a fireman I felt really bad. In those civilized world it is still good because their government gives people listening ears and knows when to act when it is necessary unlike ours that don't see anything good in those trees as they will be happy to see it gets destroyed. On my own opinion I will love to see that government sets up good body to tackle such issues after such hazard has taken place. This body will ensure that they get those trees planted back as humans needs it for their daily lives also. Nice post

In my opinion, appropriate authorities should be set up to regulate forest fires. These fires have been known to have direct impact on not just the vegetation and biomass, but it has devastating effect on the environment and ecosystem.
Actions should be put in place to prevent future occurrence of this.
