The reason that I have been talking about scam of recent is because of the newbies coming into cryptocurrency. I don't want their fund to be stolen. If we fail to educate them just like the way we were educated they will fall victim to such circumstances and they will lost their money. Just imagine is big amount of money. This is the more reason I keep pushing such post forward, I want them to come across it and be wise with it. As an old hand don't think you don't need this post, just knows that if you are not careful and informed enough you can still fall victim to such act. We just have to keep reminding everybody why we should be careful with what we are doing when it comes to cryptocurrency. Of we don't do this, we might at the end lost big fund to those scammer.
One thing that triggered me to write this post was what happened today. Somebody posted that he lost about $12,000, I was shocked on how that really happened. What pained me was that he said that this is the last savings he has, where will he start from? He is not the only one experiencing such issue, fund keeps getting lost in this space and it is really a bad moment I must say. I am just thinking who will be the next victim. I pray when it happens the person will lost small money and not his life savings.
I asked the dude what happened and he told me that he was interacting with metamask in other to be eligible for future airdrop. He decided to do this because Metamask might decide to do airdrop in the nearest future and at the end, he end up loosing all his money, this is so painful. While trying to make money we are loosing money, what a shame.
He said he can't even explain how this happened but he saw that his fund got lost like that. I was shocked too as someone else talked about how he lost money like that when he was trying to do the abritrium swap. It seems there is really an issue with this stuff and it needs to be urgently looked into so that others won't keep loosing money. How I wish someone can reach out to the team and tells them to check their code, there is issues with it. I was about swapping there too, all thanks to God that I haven't taken such step.
I haven't deposited and I have done all the process that is required. I am so lucky, just imagine loosing my little money to such act. The dude has decided to quit cryptocurrency as he was left in a bitter state. I felt so bad and I also felt so sad for him, how will he bounce back from that mess. Without speaking much, what does this tells you? it means that we should be careful of the site we are interacting with. Scam is just all over the place and lots of person will loose more fund if they are not careful enough.
I just don't want to go into more stories of victims that I have heard and seen, but I am using this post to pass a message around. You should be vigilant when it comes to cryptoccurrency space, you will be scammed if you won't pay attention to what you are doing. Let this advice follows you and act as guide to whatsoever thing you are doing in this space. Another thing to note is to never give out your wallet keys to any body or site or project. Secondly, knows the site you are interacting and depositing your money to, make research so you get burnt.
We should knows that as more good project surface, more scam will always surface. If they knows that a trusted project just launched and it did awesomely well, they will copy his style and use it to scam people. You have to make good research about a project before you think of even putting your money there. Don't just because of radioactive airdrop lost all your live savings, you have to be wise. Always remember that all decisions that you are making today will impact your life negatively and positively tomorrow. So make research before you fall into the hands of scammers.
To those who have programing knowledge I will advice that you read codes before you invest into cryptocurrency project. If it is a scam project those programmers will knows from the code they have red.

Nice one @tfame3865, as the fame of cryptocurrency, is spreading fast, scammers are taking advantage of the opportunity to dupe people of their funds which is really sad.
Irrespective of how juicy the opportunity looks, we need to take time to carry out our own research before venturing into it in order to avoid loosing our funds.
