Before we move forward to what we have at hand today when it comes to the cryptocurrency ecosystem, let us rewind a little bit back to what we discussed about yesterday. The essence of rewinding back is simply to see if we digest the topic that we speak about yesterday. Many people might have forgotten what we discussed about, this is the simplest reason why I have decided that we have a touch of it before moving forward. I know many people out there will be happy by this approach, this is holding to the reason that I state above. Back then while I was still schooling, this is what some of my teachers usually do, they will ask us to allows them refresh our brains on what we learnt the previous day by simply discussing about the later topic before moving forward. With this format being introduced, do you knows that many student started taking their studies serious. I make sure that whenever I got home, one thing that I always do is to ensure that I read my book especially researching about the topic that I just learnt. I enjoyed this aspect badly I must admit, it gives me the energy and ability to study. It helps to reduce how I play, this is simply because I knows that I will be embarrassed if I failed to contribute on the topic that I studied recently. With all that I have spoken about, we all can see and attest to it that such format is welcomed in the cryptocurrency ecosystem and the blockchain at large. It helps to aid learning in the cryptocurrency ecosystem.
Out last topic sees us discussing about what is solidity in the cryptocurrency ecosystem; as for your information, solidity is an advance programming language on which smart contract in the Ethereum blockchain is run or attained. As for your information, this programming language is for the Ethereum blockchain only. Without solidity, there is every tendency that the Ethereum blockchain might not have attained the stage and height that it has attained today. It was discovered that it was Gavin Wood that created this amazing programmable programming language called solidity.
Deviating from that and jumping on the topic of discussion which talks about testnet, I will say that we might have in one way or the other heard about this word. In the cryptocurrency ecosystem, the word testnet has stand out as one major word that has been spoken about by almost all mouth in the cryptocurrency ecosystem. The reason why it has stand out as an important word is simply holding to the fact that it is an integral word in the cryptocurrency ecosystem. It is part of the things pushing the cryptocurrency ecosystem and the blockchain at large. Aside all the plenty words, the main question at hand is what is Testnet?
As for the benefit of this post and those that will come across it, I will make the definition of the word Testnet easier. testnet is not a real blockchain, for your information, testnet can be defined or seen as an alternative blockchain that is created by developers in other to be able to test for errors in a blockchain. Instead of using the main blockchain to carry out testing activities which might create more problems to the Mainnet blockchain, the developers or the real owners of such cryptocurrency project decided to test such blockchain in the fake/alternative or second platform. One thing that you should note is that anything that it is being done in this fake or alternative blockchain is not real. If you make billions of dollars there you should knows that they are not real and you can't put it into real use case. Over the years I have seen people taking the alternative blockchain very serious, after doing all the necessary things they will now discover that at the tail end they can't put the token that they earned into good use, this is where their challenges started from. This is the core reason why you should knows that when it comes to the cryptocurrency ecosystem and the blockchain at large, all money earned in testnet are not real.
Do you know that when it comes to some cryptocurrency project, while you are testing the cryptocurrency ecosystem or protocols, the developers will reward your activities with their tokens/coins, this is why many people takes testnet activities serious. There is always reward at the tail end of some testnet activities. Some don't reward testers but majority of such project reward testers.
The reason why they are rewarding us is simply holding to the fact that they knows that with users aid or support, they are able to spot if there is issues with their protocol or cryptocurrency project.
I will end the post here, have a nice day.
