OpenAI put out a public information, that they'll no longer be using the plugin functionality, and that they'll be changing the plugin functionality, with Generative Pretrained Transformers - which is called GPTs in short.
The good thing is that the Generative Pretrained Transformers carries similar functionality as the plugin functionality. And the GPT possesses an additional benefit - which is a search feature. And this can help users to search for more information regarding their plugins.
In the mean time, up until the 9th of April, users can maintain their communications or conversations with the plugin functionality. But from on the 10th of April 2024, the plugin functionality will be completely brought to a stop.
It's important to know that since the 19th of March 2024, users couldn't use the existing plugin to make new conversations. And since the 19th of March, they could only maintain conversations that were already existing.
