It is getting better and worse at the same time.
It's been 4 month since I started running Presearch Node.
This month reward was 163 PRE which is the biggest amount in 4 months... great.
But then, this whole crypto market crash and everything, PRE got hit PREtty hard
source
and it's been declining to nothing 😭
If it was a few month ago, 163 PRE could worth ~$16 which is not bad since my server costs, about $10 a month so I would be in green.
But now, it's worth about ~$4 😫 so yeah... 4month in a row, I am in red.
The experience of running a node
It is very smooth, especially I run it "AUTO" so I don't have to do anything. It runs automatically, it upgrades automatically when a node version gets updated. If my node gets disconnected, it gets connected automatically.
So it is very easy and effortless, and anybody can run a node without having technical knowledges which is a huge plus for anyone who wants to run a node.
It is just that...
Reward isn't there
at least for me.
This could be different for other node operators though... if you run it on your own machine or stake more PRE on your node and stuff.
My stats
Latency is not that great but Success Rate is pretty good.
Uptime Score 100.0%
Reliability Score 71.9%
My node is up and running, yet reliability score is kind of low. I have no idea why that is. But it has been like this so it is what it is.
It could be the latency?
But anyway, this is my reward this month. How is your experience running a PRE node?
Are you planning to keep your nodes running?

Ohhh that bad news @tomoyan, certainly the fall of the crypto market has hit a lot those who bet on this blockchain world, obviously some more than others xD.
In my case I never ran a node with PRE, however for a long time if I was using it as the default browser, until the values went to zero, in fact I could never withdraw or change any PRE token, I just forgot about them and left aside your browser.

Hi @tomoyan
I think it's a nice experience despite the fact that it has been a loss from an investment perspective. The price may recover at any time, but there is no guarantee in the crypto world...
Are you planning to keep running the node? Just curious 🤓
Thanks for sharing your experience :))
