Greetings to all the community, I hope you are well and in good health, this time I want to share with you my opinion on the importance of being focused and not rely solely on the speed of our actions. I hope you like it and you can leave a comment.
In my beloved country Venezuela there is a children's story which is well known, "the story of the rabbit and the tortoise", in this story is told as a tortoise manages to beat a hare in a race, in this children's story the moral is that it is always more important the perseverance and that speed is not always the best option.
A few months ago a group of people recreated the mythical race between the tortoise and the hare, to the astonishment of those present and as hard as it is to believe, in real life the tortoise also beat the hare, but how did he do it?, We all know that it is a fact of nature that hares are faster than tortoises.
The reasons that led to the victory of the tortoise over the hare is because the tortoise remains concentrated for longer while the hare loses focus very quickly, that is, during the time the race lasted the hare was distracted by absolutely everything while the tortoise with a slow and concentrated pace was distracted by absolutely nothing.
The turtle's focus allowed him to have the victory, all this leads me to think that no matter how slow our progress towards success may be, if we are focused and constant for a reasonable time we will achieve our goals and succeed.
If now you feel that your progress is not very fast remember the popular wisdom that says "slow is safe and safe is fast", a constant and focused action will allow us to be as successful as the tortoise in his race against the hare.
In conclusion a focused and constant action can become our best ally in achieving success in life, it is my opinion that all goals can be achieved if we learn to be constant, with that ability it does not matter if our goal is difficult as it was for a tortoise to beat a hare. constancy and focus are the key to success.

Yes i agree with you regarding the phase slow is safe and safe is fast. The reason behind this is that we will always win if you take step by step in the work.
This will definitely make us to reach the goal that we have set by. And we all know slow and steady wins the race

Greetings my friend @trabajosdelsiglo.
It is very true what you say in your title, at the end of the rush is the tiredness as my grandmother used to say, so we must go taking safe steps that lead us to success, no matter how slow the progress is, but it must be safe.

hello @trabajosdelsiglo
It's better to get things step by step, so you don't miss any details by going fast. As the saying goes "A paso de Vencedores".
Thank you very much for sharing your post

This is a belief that is also ingrained in Japanese culture, where it is even preached that discipline will eventually overcome intelligence. Organization, discipline and perseverance are the key values to have success in life.

I’ve felt this way for a long time. In the pursuit of “fast,” I usually sacrifice quality. And if I don’t have enough time to do it correctly the first time, how am I going to have enough time to do it correctly a second time?
Awesome post @trabajosdelsiglo!
