How much thought should I put into buying currencies!

in hive-175254 •  3 years ago

My first experience with other Cryptocurrencies asides Hive and Steem was last year.

I was gifted a small amount of XRP by a friend who liked me at the time.

Right after that, I began an adventure of buying random coins I would come across on my Binance exchange application.

I have a portfolio of 10 different currencies and I still have no idea what I'm doing.

Most times, I get confused. I wonder if I'm making the right choice by owning so many without enough research.

I look through some cheap coins and I just purchase as much as I can at that moment. I think the least is worth $10.

I've received returns from my Hive, Steem, Doge, and XRP.

These returns are satisfactory, I've reshuffling the rewards and buy some more coins.

I now consider buying coins a game.

I gamble with money and just enjoy watching it rise and fall.

My friends believe I have a rich personal mentality, but I don't know about that.

I'm just so confident in the system that I'm not afraid anymore.

An Offer I Couldn't Refuse

Someone offered to give me $10 a few weeks ago. She's a good friend who asked if I could buy a currency with it for her.

I had rambled out of proportion about my crypto earnings and she was intrigued.

I told her I could, however, I'd advise she does a little bit of research first.

I mean I can afford to give her back her $10 whenever she'd ask for it, however, I do not run a Ponzi scheme.

She wanted a promised amount in return which is not exactly possible.

$10 is such a small amount to be stressed over.

I once watched my $10 grow x8. It took 3 months for that to happen.

I was patient. I'm always patient with myself and my investments. I could have waited longer. I was ready to wait for 4 years even.

However, I am also greedy. When I see the pump, I want to milk it. I just want to watch my babies grow for mama.

Does the attitude towards investments matter?

While there was a time I could get a heartache from a $10 loss, now I just look away and know I'm getting it back some way.

Is there a recommended attitude towards investment?

I get that we're all risk-takers the moment we decide to start buying crypto. However, how much risk-taking is too much?

Having confidence is so good no doubt but sometimes taking risks without a study before might not be the best idea.
I'm glad you could make a good profit from cryptos and hopefully, you can more in the future.

I look forward to it. And i realized that research increases the rewards
