The 3rd and last ODI Match of the India tour of South Africa, 2023-24 was played yesterday at Boland Park, Paarl. In which India wins over South Africa by a big margin of 78 runs to seal the ODI series by 2-1.
TOSS- South Africa won the toss and opted to bowl
India Innings- India batted first and started the inning very well, Sanju Samson played a very brilliant century inning of 108 runs with the help of 3 sixes and 6 boundaries in 114 balls, Tilak Varma played a very brilliant half-century inning of 52 runs with the help of 1 six and 5 boundaries in 77 balls, Rinku Singh played a brilliant inning of 38 runs with the help of 2 sixes and 3 boundaries in just 27 balls, Rajat Patidar scored 22 runs with the help of 1 six and 3 boundaries in just 16 balls, KL Rahul 21 runs in 35 balls, Washington Sundar 14 runs in 9 balls, Sai Sudharsan 10 runs in 16 balls, apart from this, Axar Patel dismissed for 1 run in 3 balls, Arshdeep Singh remains unbeaten for 7 runs in 2 balls, and Avesh Khan 1 run in 2 balls. In this way, India scored 296 runs after losing 8 wickets in the stipulated 50 overs and set a target of 297 runs in front of South Africa.

South Africa inning- South Africa chasing 297 runs in the second inning the entire team dismissed just for 218 runs in the fifth ball of the 46th over and lost the match by 78 runs. South Africa started the inning very brilliantly the ending was very poor, Tony de Zorzi played a very brilliant half-century inning of 81 runs with the help of 3 sixes and 6 boundaries in just 87 balls, Aiden Markram scored 36 runs in 41 balls, Heinrich Klaasen 21 runs in 22 balls, Beuran Hendricks 18 runs in 26 balls, Reeza Hendricks 19 runs in 24 balls, Keshav Maharaj 14 runs in 27 balls, David Miller 10 runs in 20 balls, Rassie van der Dussen dismissed just for 2 runs in 17 balls, Wiaan Mulder 1 run in 3 balls, Lizaad Williams 2 runs in 3 balls, and Nandre Burger remains unbeaten for 1 run in 7 balls. In this way, the entire team all-out just for 218 runs in 45.5 overs and lost the match by a big margin of 78 runs, and with this loss also lost the series by 2-1.
Indian bowlers- Arshdeep Singh took 4 wickets just for 30 runs in 9 overs, Washington Sundar 2 wickets just for 38 runs in his spell, Avesh Khan 2 wickets for 45 runs in 7.5 overs, Axar Patel 1 wicket for 48 runs in his spell, and Mukesh Kumar also got 1 wicket for 56 runs in 9 overs.
PLAYER OF THE MATCH- Indian Sanju Samson was selected as the player of the match, he played a very brilliant powerful century inning of 108 runs with the help of 3 sixes and 6 boundaries in 114 balls.
PLAYER OF THE SERIES- Indian bowler Arshdeep Singh was the player of the series, he performed very brilliant bowling in the entire series, he got 5 wickets in the 1st ODI match, 1 wicket in the 2nd ODI match, and 4 wickets in the 3rd and final Match.
