I was walking outside our house one early afternoon when I saw this feathered creature. He was alone and looking for food. I don't know the owner of this one. He is what I call a street chicken or rooster, meaning he roams the streets searching for food without any owner and no apparent home.
He was checking out the area if there was anything worth chewing on or eating up. Here he is moving closely among the candle plants we have planted outside our home.
One thing about these street chicken is they are so used to the streets that they are fearless and will often face any danger or threat head on. To show you what I mean, here he is fighting off a street cat who happened to pass by looking for food as well. He is small but not afraid.
