I always miss traveling to Shilong

Friends,
I used to go to Meghalaya often when I was traveling to the northeast part of India.

Shilong is the main attraction for business purposes as well as for scenic beauty.

Shilling is known for its Rock Music. Most of the days in the evening of December and January live music performances are being held in the center of Shilong city.

I have personally seen a few of the programs.

You will always find tourists in Shilong, as it is a tourist spot. It is situated between Khasi and Garo Hills.

There are many places in and around Shilong like Don Bosco Museum, Umiam Lake, Shilong Peak, Cherrapunjee are few of them.

Except for Cherrapunjee, I have visited all of the places mentioned above.

These places are so beautiful you will never forget and will always try to go there as many times you visit Shilong.

Though it is a Hill Station, the roads of Shilong are broad and in some place four lanes.

It is a clean city and the people are cordial, though the transport costs are on the higher side compared to other cities.

Churches, Monuments, Gardens, and Lakes are common in Shilong. While traveling from Guwahati by road you will always find this and enjoy the view.

You can go to Elephant falls and feel the awesome waterfalls.

Varieties of foods are available in Shilong but like most of the Hill Station evenings are short. The morning starts very early.

I always miss traveling to Shilong nowadays and waiting for the next opportunity to visit there.
