Hello, great warriors of Splinterlands, I hope you all are doing good and enjoying your day. Today I am again here sharing my entry for the BATTLE MAGE SECRETS Weekly Challenge "RULESET: Armored Up
" which is offered by @splinterlands. You can also participate in this weekly challenge, to know more about how to participate in this challenge visit this link.
ABOUT: Armored Up:
Armored Up
is a ruleset in Splinterlands battles in which all monsters get a +2 armor buff at the beginning of the game.- Use Void Armor to ensure that magic attacks strike armor first.
- Use Shatter or Piercing to destroy your opponent's armor more effectively.

Battle Ruleset:
For this battle, there were three rulesets
Briar Patch, Armored Up, and What Doesn't Kill You
. The allowed mana cap was 57
and only Death Splinter was inactive in this battle.Battle Summoner
I choose
OBSIDIAN
as a Summoner for this battle which is a Chaos Legion edition Earth Splinter Summoner that costs 4 mana and has one ability which is to increase the magic attack of friendly team monsters by +1. I have now 2 summoners of the Earth Splinter and the one I use the most is this summoner. I have upgraded it to level 4 due to which most of the time I am using this summoner whenever I am playing with the Earth splinter. I have upgraded it to level 4 and under this summoner, I can use up to level 5 common cards.
1. TERRACEOUS HULK:
In the first position, I used the
TERRACEOUS HULK
which is a reward edition Legendary melee attack monsterfrom the Earth splinter. I used it in the first position because of its
Taunt and Void armor
abilities and also which gives -4 melee damage. Also, the battle ruleset was Armored Up so it has many armors and will take longer to be killed. Currently, I have this monster at level 1 and I will upgrade it further when I get more bcx of it. It also works fine for me at level 1 in battles.
2. PRISMATIC ENERGY:
In the second position, I used
PRISMATIC ENERGY
which is also a reward edition rare magic attack monster from the Neutral Splinter. It costs 8 mana, does a -2 magic attack, and has a magic reflect ability at level 4. I used it in the second position because of its Magic Reflect
ability and also because it has high magic damage along with high health so it will have fewer chances to die soon. I have upgraded it to level 4 which gives -2 magic damage and has the Magic Reflect ability.
3. KRON THE UNDYING:
In the third position, I used
KRON THE UNDYING
which is an untamed edition legendary magic attack monster from the Earth Splinter. It costs 10 mana, does a -3 magic attack, and has a Heal ability at level 1. I am fortunate to have this monster because it is a high-demand card and sometime in the past its price was above 300$. I used it in the third position because of its high health and also because it has a Heal ability so it will stay longer and will restore its HP when it gets damaged. I have got it at level 1 from the pack opening and it works very well for me in battles.
4. GOBLIN PSYCHIC:
In the fourth position, I used
GOBLIN PSYCHIC
which is a chaos edition common magic attack monster from the Earth splinter. At level 1 it has one ability Tank Heal
and gives -2 magic damage. I have upgraded it to level 4 for the Affliction ability. I used it in the fourth position because of its Tank Heal ability to recover the health of the monster in the first position. I have upgraded it to level 4 and it works fine for me.
5. MUSHROOM SEER:
In the fifth position, I used
MUSHROOM SEER
which is a Beta edition rare magic attack monster from the Earth Splinter. It costs 5 mana, does a -2 magic attack, and has one ability Silence at level 1. I used it in this battle because of its Silence ability which will reduce the magic attack of the enemy team monsters by -1. Currently, I have this monster at level 1 and it works fine for me.
6. MYCELIC SLIPSPAWN:
In the last position, I used the
MYCELIC SLIPSPAWN
which is a Chaos Legion edition rare magic attack monster from the Earth Splinter. It costs 9
mana, does a -2 magic attack, and has a Taunt ability at level 1. I used it in the last position because of its Taunt ability so when the monster in the first place dies then it will be targeted. I have upgraded it to level 4 for the Forcefield ability.Battle Result:
The below screenshot is my battle result in which you can see that I won this battle and I was rewarded with 0.422 SPS.
Did your strategy work?
Yes, my all strategies worked very well for me and as a result, I won this battle.
