On this occasion I want to make a post about the Dadap tree that has beautiful flowers,
I found this Dadap plant in the Mini Park belonging to the government of Pidie Jaya Regency meureudu
Dadap tree is a species of tree of the genus Erythrina originating from tropical and subtropical regions of eastern Africa, the Indian subcontinent, northern Australia, the islands of the Indian Ocean and the western Pacific Ocean east to Fiji.
Dadap tree has many synonymous names in various countries, including Tiger's claw, Indian coral tree, and Sunshine tree. In Indonesia it is called Dadap sea, Deris, Dalungdung, and Galala itam. While the Latin name synonyms include Erythrina indica and E. variegata var orientalis.
In Sri Lanka, dadap flowers blooming on trees are associated with the advent of the Sri Lankan New Year in April. In Sinhalese it is called 'Erabadu'. Sinhala is the local language in Sri Lanka,
Dadap tree in Latin is Erythrina variegata. Dadap tree has beautiful red flowers. The flowers are arranged in bunches, cone-shaped about 6 × 8 cm, orange to dark red in color, growing at the ends of the twigs.
