✍️✍️The three-storey house is located on Khorashadpur in Shilaidaha union under Kumarkhali upazila, 15 km northeast of Kushtia town, on 33 bighas of land and 2.5 bighas of land. Rabindranath's grandfather Prince Dwarkanath Tagore got the zamindari of this region in 1808. Later in 179 Rabindranath Tagore became a zamindar here. Here he managed the zamindari till 1901. While sitting here, he wrote his famous books Sonar Tari, Chitra, Chaitali, etc., and also started translating Gitanjali poetry.
